Maklooba Man interviews KabobFest target Ray Hanania

Amazingly, visits to Ray Hanania's web sites, blogs and sales of his books have spiked and Maklooba Man can only surmise it has to do with the typically ugly attack campaign from KabobFest against Hanania.

We asked Hanania about his response and he said, "I've sold 15 copies of my book 'Ya Habibi: Growing up Arab in America' just in the past week, which is up from what I normally sell each week. It's a good sign. I feel a little guilty taking blood money, though, from a campaign of hatred from some of the anonymous writers at KabobFest who like to dish it out but can't take the criticism themselves. It's typical of fanatics and extremists who defined sacred cows that are really just pigs with rawhide wrapped around their pork bellys."

Maklooba Man was cauliflowered by what Hanania said. So we asked him to keep talking.

"Well, the KabobFesters have a line they don't cross. They make fun of everyone except the sacred Palestinian cause which by their book is the destruction of Palestine through the embrace of extremism and Hamas, the terrorist organization that redefined resistance as blowing up children in civilian locations in Israel and firing bottle rockets dressed up like Katyushas at civilians in neighboring Israeli settlements. They avoid the Israeli military and hide among the civilians and help cause massive civilian deaths which Hamas then uses to stoke up the hate-factor in the Gaza Strip and exploit the suffering that they help cause," Hanania said.

We never thought of it that way, and asked Hanania to explain.

"Well, the KabobFesters are typical of the enablers in the American Arab community who remain silent against fanaticism and terrorism when it involves other people killed by our people, the Palestinians, but are the loudest screamers when the victims are Palestinians. That's a hypocrisy that has undermined the Palestinian cause. People are not stupid. They see right through the moral transparency of their rhetoric, the hypocrisy of their rhetoric. That has undermined Palestinian rights and the ability to create a legitimate and sovereign Palestine State.," Hanania told Maklooba Man.

Maklooba Man was impressed, although I am not sure if I will remove my Green Hamas Headband that I wear when I exercise at Bally's. It's very vogue and replaced the kaffiyeh headscarve I used to wear around my next over a T-Shirt that said "Resistance is not Terrorism, unless you are an Israeli."

Hanania then interrupted the Maklooba Man's thought process and said, as if he could read minds, "That's so ironic you think that Maklooba Man. The fact is that the biggest screamers and biggest fanatics and extremists and radicals urging the Palestinians to say no to peace and remain in the squaller of the refugee camps and the destitution of the occupation until all or nothing comes are people like the KabobFesters who sit in their comfortable homes and apartments with their cars, ability to enjoy the sheesha cafes in Washington D.C. and around the country, and have scholarships where they can enjoy a good education and all the freedoms and comfort of the Western World that they skewer so viciously and so often. They hide behind cowardly anonymity and scream out their rhetoric and attacks and tell Palestinians 'All or Nothing' because when the Palestinian people end up with 'nothing,' these extremist hypocrites in the Western World who lead the Palestinian refugees like lemmings to the slaughter will still have their own comfortable lives. They have nothing to lose and they don't mind risking on the roulette table of Middle East politics everything that the Palestinian refugees have lost and are trying to recover."

Maklooba Man is humbled by the sheer power of the Hanania Force, the wisdom of his words and the perspicuity of his amazing knowledge.

(Oops. Maklooba Man is such a traditional dish and in one interview I am already starting to use such big words and nouveau riche analogies. Ya Rubee!)

Maklooba Man was upside-down with awe when Hanania explained that a sheesha pipe is just a modernday bong.

"Of course, it doesn't matter what the KabobFesters are smoking in their sheesha pipes. They are all full of hypocritical landfill."

Was that Maklooba Man or Hanania speaking? Yalla (without an 'h' ibn kelb).
